SITREP: The Siskin Insurrection and the Red Mask Intervention

GOLDFINCH 2

I’ve seen some tense stand-offs in my time, but nothing quite prepared me for the recent breakdown of diplomacy at Feeding Station Number 3.

What began as a standard morning resupply quickly devolved into what can only be described as a "Siskin Riot." The local Siskin 'Lager Lout' Unit, notorious for their lack of basic field etiquette, decided to occupy the primary perch, leading to a significant drain on our high-grade sunflower resources.

Deployment of the Red Mask Squadron

When the situation threatened to destabilise the entire sector (Alpha-9, Alpine Regional Command), I had no choice but to call in the professionals.

Two senior NCOs from the Red Mask Squadron (Goldfinch Division) were deployed to the front. As you’ll see in the surveillance footage below, their presence was immediate and effective. There is a certain quiet authority that comes with the Red Mask uniform; they don’t need to shout to restore order. They simply moved in, took up their positions, and the Siskins wisely decided that their "theatre of operations" was better suited elsewhere.

The Mystery of Agent N

While order has returned to the main feeder, Intelligence is still tracking a high-value operative: Agent N (Codename: Marsh Tit).

She is a specialist in hit-and-run tactics. One moment she’s on the perimeter, the next she has liberated a single seed and vanished into the treeline. She has currently relocated, but my gut tells me she hasn’t left the sector for good.

I am currently reviewing the budget to see if we can offer her a mercenary contract. It might be cheaper to pay her in suet than to keep up with her constant "unauthorised requisitions."

Forward Outlook

The Siskins are expected to begin their annual "Strategic Seasonal Realignment" shortly. Word on the wire suggests they are heading north, with a scheduled R&R stop in Southern Germany for Oktoberfest.

We don't expect them back at this station until November. Until then, the Goldfinches remain in command.
